~*Our Honeymoon to Fiji*~

We originally planned on going to Hawaii for our honeymoon, but then I came across a review in the Connecticut Brides magazine where a  local couple raved about their honeymoon in Fiji. We fell in love with their resort that only accommodates up to 36 people at a time with private villas and bures. Each villa and bure has a private courtyard with outdoor shower and private jacuzzi tub with waterfall. This was something we searched high and low for in Hawaii and just couldn't find anything we had envisioned. What ultimately sold us was their "Honeymoon Beach" excursion. The staff drive you by boat to their private island and drop you off for the day with a picnic lunch and a bottle of wine or champagne and come pick you up later so you have the whole island to yourself. So we stopped worrying about the long plane ride and knew this would be our dream honeymoon. A private  Bure on the beach halfway around the world and the ability to be alone on our own private island for a day. We'll be gone for about two weeks, 10 nights in Fiji, and two nights in Vegas on our way out and a night in LA on our way back to break up the long plane rides.
